An above-garage extension to a late Victorian redbrick house provides a home office, dressing room and ensuite, all serving the existing master bedroom.

A contemporary interpretation of traditional brick detailing affords a design which is sensitive and complimentary to its context.

A subtle curve at the corner of the extension assists the proposal in remaining subsidiary to the existing house externally; internally the curved wall frames a window seat and, paired with a curving rooflight, gives character to this modest space.
